The solid reputation of our Saint-Joseph wines around the world was established from our ability to form a style based on the fruit, the finesse and the balance of a dozen selections of distinct terroirs. Our Saint-Joseph wines have never been so popular.
From the diversity of expressions that the implantation of our winegrowers provides in the southern part -the heart - of the appellation, we create Saint-Joseph wines with the purity of granite and the generosity of the well-ripened fruit.
The pure, spicy and sharp fruitiness of the Saint-Joseph: our style
Far reaching from north to south over around fifty kilometers, this vineyard is the second largest in terms of the surface area at the Cave de Tain and in the northern part of the Rhone valley (after Crozes-Hermitage). Narrow granite terraces exposed south/south east one after the other, on the eastern edge of the Massif Central, creating a number of micro climates.
With the precision and high standards that their steep vines and their granite soils require, our winegrowers offer material containing treasures of elegance and very varied characteristics: it is up to us to draw on these to develop our fruity, intensely spicy and sharp style with the incomparable purity that comes from the granite.
